With that edition, Nokia teamed up with the pioneers of heart rate monitor technology, Polar, to create a monitor that works in harmony with the Nokia N79 and the Nokia Sports Tracker application.
The Polar for Nokia transmitter straps to your chest and monitors your heart activity to a resolution of one millisecond. The information collected is continuously transmitted to the Nokia N79 and analyzed by the Nokia Sports Tracker application. The good thing about the strap is that it is lightweight, soft material that is very comfortable to use. You can keep track of the most important part of your body and integrate its progress into the rest of your training program, along with all the standard Nokia Sports Tracker metrics. N79 comes with a good music player and 5 mpx camera as well.
