Nokia Sports Tracker Presentation:
Is the Nokia Sports Tracker web service free?
Storing workouts in the Nokia Sports Tracker web service is free. You can store as many workouts as you like. Uploading and downloading content involves the transmission of data through your service providers network. Contact your service provider for information about data transmission charges.
What data is shown on the profile page?
The profile page shows the summary of all your exercises in the workout summary graph. Latest workouts shows shared workouts only. When you look at your profile, you see it as others see it. To display your private workouts, use the dashboard.
How are my images positioned on the map?
When you upload images to the service from your mobile device with the Upload to service command, the images are positioned to the workout according to their time stamp. You can also position images manually on the map using the photo placement tool.
To participate and upload your workouts to the service, you need the Nokia Sports Tracker application installed in a compatible Nokia mobile device (S60 3rd edition). If you don't have a compatible device, you can manually upload your workouts in the GPX format.
Can I feed my location and my tracks to my blog? In real time?
Not yet but the team at Nokia is working on it.
Why is the total distance in the summary view much shorter than the actual workout?
If the recording is cut off for some reason, for example, the mobile device runs out of battery power while recording, the workout file lacks a valid ending time stamp. The summary view lacks data from the last few minutes of the workout, although the workout plot is correct. Always stop recording your workout by selecting "Stop".
